Product Description

"London, the seat of the British Commonwealth, is one stop on TWA's worldwide routes. The mighty Tower of London, as seen through the Tower bridge, dominates the skyline. Today this great fortress is the home of the famous Beefeaters and the Crown Jewels. The Tower, which at one time commanded the river approaches to London, was built by William the Conqueror nearly 900 years ago. Other framable color renderings of our Collector Series - Great Cities of the World - are presented periodically on various flight segments.

Trans World Airlines (TWA) was a major American airline that existed from 1930 until 2001. It was formed as Transcontinental & Western Air to operate a route from New York City to Los Angeles via St. Louis, Kansas City, and other stops, with Ford Trimotors. With American, United, and Eastern, it was one of the "Big Four" domestic airlines in the United States.
