This cheerful menu cover showing a lavishly mustachioed Italian waiter playing the accordion and a waitress dancing to the music while expertly balancing a tray with a bottle of wine and a bowl of spaghetti was for the Villa Roma restaurant in Houston, Texas, in the 1960s.
Located at 2585 North MacGregor, it served standard Italian fare with complete dinners offered for $2.
