Tick Tock was a family restaurant opened in 1930 by Art and Helen Johnson. There were two branches – one in Hollywood and the other in Toluca.
For 58 years (the restaurant closed in 1988) the Johnsons enjoyed great success and loyal customers who enjoyed “excellent service, friendly atmosphere, fair and reasonable prices and most of all, the finest quality of food.”
