The Chi Gardens, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada 1950s
Product Description
This Canadian Chinese restaurant from Regina, Saskatchewan "solved your food problem" by delivering "to your door" in their "oven equipped delivery truck." The cover shows a drawing of a Chinese lady who was elected Miss China in 1951 in Hong Kong. Proprietor Don Gee was duly proud of Chi Garden's food and modern equipment like "electric meat saws, electric vegetable cutters, dish-washer sterilizers with water at 180 degrees, and refrigeration chambers with sterilizer ray lamps protecting foods from all bacteria."
