Tabby Cat, Tacoma, WA. 1937
Product Description
We have never seen a cat featured on a menu cover before so we are thrilled to have found this feline who is super-cute in an old fashioned way. This 1930s restaurant in Tacoma, Washington, is long gone, but it seemed like a casual kind of place to grab a hot or cold lunch. The strongest alcohol on sale was draft beer for ten cents. There was also full fountain service for ice cream, root beer and crème beer. With great colors and stylish graphics, this menu cover is one of the most unusual ones in our collection.
