Sun Tai Sam Yuen, San Francisco 1963
This bilingual Chinese-American menu from the 1960s includes several pages of authentic Chinese cuisine hand-written in Chinese characters which have not been translated into English. Mah Jong tiles and plenty of Chow Mein and Won Ton must also have appealed to Western diners.
