Product Description
This pretty and delicate menu cover was from the Santa Rosa restaurant in Monterrey, Mexico.
Located at the Plaza Hidalgo, the restaurant offered a full bar and a mix of American and Mexican cuisine. The menu was written in Spanish and English and prices were in both currencies. Local musicians performed for guests every night.
We guess Santa Rosa was popular with tourists when Monterrey was still a quiet little place surrounded by Mexico’s stunning northern deserts and the Sierra Madre mountains.
Today, Monterrey is Mexico’s third largest city, has 3m residents and is a booming metropolis.
