Product Description
We tend to think only about passengers having a lovely time aboard these giants of the sea but the officers of these ships were also treated like kings. This 1926 menu for a goodbye dinner aboard the SS America is certainly impressive – note that the officers could finish off their meals “in the smoking room or the library.” The SS America sailed from Bremen to New York via Southampton and Cherbourg.
