Product Description
This huntin’, shootin’, fishin’ penguin is making the most of the sporting opportunities at Mammoth Lakes, California. On skis, he’s also carrying a rifle and a fishing rod.
The Penguin Café was called The Sportsman’s Favorite and served big breakfasts, hearty sandwiches and simple main meals. Hilariously, there was also a ‘ladies choice’ breakfast.
The establishment is long gone but we’ve seen photos of the Penguin Café dated 1942 and it was a wooden cabin-like building with a cheerful sign outside advertising home-cooked meals.
When we find out more about this establishment, we will update.
