Product Description

"Where cooking is an art …and service is a pleasure" says this lovely and delicate 1941 menu from The Nankin restaurant which had locations in Chicago and Minneapolis. The interior menu is beautifully illustrated too, with pictures of Chinese pagodas, Chinese lanterns, a fisherman and a Chinese lady serving a pot of steaming rice. As always in this era, Chinese restaurants served American and Chinese food to cater to all tastes. The Nankin also had its own soda fountain.
