Miami Airport Roof Restaurant 1973
Product Description
Do you remember when flying was a glamorous way to travel? No, we don’t either but this fabulous vintage menu cover from Miami shows that traveling by air was, decades ago, a stylish thing to do. With terrific typography and an illustration of a McDonnell Douglas DC8, this menu cover has a sky blue background and is dated 1973. The rooftop restaurant allowed patrons to wine and dine while overlooking the entire airfield as well as the Miami skyline. The restaurant was part of the 270 room Miami International Airport Hotel that opened in the '60s.
