Product Description
Burlesque was big in America in the 1950s and The Latin Quarter restaurant and nightclub in New York City put on amazing cabaret acts. This is the program for Folies D'Amour, described as a "gay and continental revue" that was set in Paris. Six burlesque performers act as a frame around the program and in the centre is a busy red-headed performer who is getting ready to go on stage. We love her powder puff and perfume spritzer and her leopard print evening gloves. For modesty sake, her bosom was "air-brushed."
