Hotel New Yorker "Manpower", New York, 1942
Product Description
Patriotism was of paramount importance and the Hotel New Yorker menus reminded everyone that America had many resources to call on in times of war including arms, food, manpower and production. The in-house illustrator used a striking V for Victory theme. This menu cover, extolling the virtues of manpower, is very effective with a soldier, businessman and farm and rail laborers striding together. Click through to see the other menu covers. They are reproduced as a collection of four on one poster or can be bought separately..
