Product Description
We have no idea why the owner of the restaurant took The Happy Tiger as a theme – maybe it was a nickname? However, the artist who created the menu cover had great imagination and created a very handsome tiger couple as diners.
We believe this menu from The Happy Tiger, in Norridge, Illinois, is from the late 1950s or early 60s. The owners were Brud and Marce Tobin and we are told by former customers that the couple also had tigers painted on the walls of the dining room and bar.
