King Cocktail, Frank Rodeike Liquor Store, Pasadena 1940s Cocktail Art
Frank Rodeike's is a bit of a mystery. We know it was a liquor store on E. Washington in Pasadena. Apart from that very little. But, we are in awe of their excellent taste in illustrators. Magnificent. All booze bows down to King Cocktail Shaker and Wine brings the flowers. This illustration was originally on a matchbook cover produced by the Lion Match Company for liquor stores and bars across America in the 1930s.
