Established in Glendale, California, Damon’s is a Tiki-style steakhouse that has been serving mai tais, prime rib and BBQ to generations of happy customers.
The Polynesian-designed restaurant first opened on South Central Avenue and is now in a prime North Brand Blvd location.
Founder Loyal Damon started out in the candy store business and then passed on the restaurant and its famous cocktail recipes for mai tais, zombies and chi chis to his son Loyal Jnr, wife Donna and daughter Jennie.
Damon’s is owned today by Patrick Campbell, member of an esteemed LA restaurant family.
Judging by the rave reviews we hear from customers who say they have been dining at Damon’s for years, the place remains in good hands.
This Polynesian-style menu is from the late 1950s or 60s, judging by the prices, and the CI-trus telephone code for Glendale.
