Product Description
The Chase Club, in St Louis's Hotel Chase, opened in 1933 and was the premier entertainment venue at the hotel. Its greatest days were after the end of WW2 when, according to Hack Ulrich, its former maitre d', "The Chase Club had all the top talent. We had Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Perry Como... We would serve 1400 to 1500 people." The Chase Club's national reputation lasted until the early 1960s when television shows began to pay stars way more than clubs could afford. It eventually closed in 1972.
