MS Vulcania was an Italian ocean liner built for the Italian company Cosulich Line and voyaged between Trieste, Venice, Patras, Naples, Palermo, Barcelona, Gibraltar, Lisbon, Halifax and New York.
This 1963 menu cover is one of a series celebrating the ‘spiagge d’Italia’ – the beaches of Italy. As well as the Lido di Venezia, the colorful artwork also portrays some of the historical sights of the place they call La Serenissima.
The Vulcania was sold to another shipping company in 1965, hit a rock off Cannes, France, in 1972 and was scrapped the following year.
Each order includes a print of the interior menu.
All printed in USA.
