Product Description

The Wharf, a restaurant complex located on Seattle's Fisherman's Terminal, had two lounges – the Moby Dick and the Mermaid Room - from where customers could view the Northwest’s largest fishing fleet while eating and drinking.
This delightful 1960s die-cut menu cover from the Mermaid Room “lured” cocktail drinkers with mermaids floating in a bottle of spirits. The trio were feminine and cute and the artist cleverly painted the background dark, with a few water bubbles, so it looked like the mermaids were deeply underwater. A Mermaid Cocktail cost only 73 cents.
