This cute menu cover for the Three Bears Drive-In, showing Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear is utterly charming.

Judging by the hats they’re wearing, Papa Bear and Baby Bear were the soda jerks and waiters while Mama Bear in her chef’s hat, pie-crust blouse and polka dot pinafore was in charge of the kitchen.

Each member of the family also features on the interior menu of food to eat in the car or take home. And yes, porridge was off the menu for these bears. Instead, customers could choose from hamburgers, french fries, shakes, broasted chicken and shrimp.

The Three Bears was located at University and Lexington in St Paul, Minnesota, and we estimate this menu is from the 1960s.
