This stylish mid-century menu in muted colors was for La Cuisine restaurant and coffee shop in Fullerton, California. It’s dated 1959.
The illustration – the artist is D. Polkow – features what we assume were different themed dining rooms- the magnolia room, the garden room and the Jamaica room.
This was a breakfast and lunch menu – the most expensive coffee and pancakes would have cost 75 cents and there were Chinese dishes on offer for lunch as well as meats, seafood and sandwiches.
We hope someone can help us fill in more information about La Cuisine, which was obviously one of Orange County’s favored eating places.
