Blue Day Inn, Pacific Highway WA 1930s

Blue Day Inn was a diner-style hot dog joint on the Pacific Highway, which used to be Seattle's version of "Route 66." This 1930s die-cut menu features a dachshund or wiener dog, a short-legged, long-bodied dog, who perfectly illustrates the diner’s culinary specialty. The interior menu opened out to reveal the food offerings.
